Product Lines and Breakthroughs
MAXYMum Recovery
In 1999, as a result of two years of research, Axygen introduced a totally unique method of changing the composition of the virgin polypropylene resins used to manufacture it’s products. The result is a group of products referred to as MAXYMum Recovery. These include pipet tips, robotic tips that compatible with popular automated liquid handling systems, PCR tubes and strips, microtubes, and high throughput screening (HTS) consumables. MAXYMum Recovery is also available for our filtered product lines: filter barrier pipet tips and filter barrier robotic tips. MAXYMum Recovery products inhibit DNA, protein, enzyme or peptide samples from sticking to their wall surface, and as a result virtually eliminate sample denaturation. Included in these, the Engineering section routinely uses CAD, CAD-CAM, and Solid Modeling software. Additionally, only the finest toolmaking facilities and original materials available are used to realize our vision as industry leaders.

Axygen Scientific maintains a fully equipped microbiology laboratory to use for product testing and development. The investment in equipment and staff allows products to be tested utilizing the same equipment and protocols as customers.
All of Axygen tips, tubes PCR products and plates are certified to be DNase, RNase and Endotoxins/ Pyrogens free on a lot-by-lot basis.
